1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 avocado, sliced
Lime wedges, for serving
Salsa of your choice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for grilling
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Slice the Panela cheese into thick pieces.
Dice the tomatoes and onions.
Chop the cilantro and shred the lettuce.
Slice the avocado.
Grill the Panela Cheese:
Heat a grill pan over medium heat and lightly coat it with olive oil.
Place the slices of Panela cheese on the grill pan.
Grill the cheese for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until it develops grill marks and becomes slightly golden. Be careful not to overcook as the cheese may become too soft.
Warm the Tortillas:
In a separate pan, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat until they are pliable and slightly toasted.
Assemble the Tacos:
Place a few slices of grilled Panela cheese on each tortilla.
Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, chopped cilantro, and avocado slices.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
Serve the tacos with lime wedges and your favorite salsa on the side.
Enjoy your delicious grilled Panela cheese tacos!
